USEC Donation Helps Pebble Township Volunteer Fire Department Organize Swift Water Rescue Team

TUSEC recently provided a $3,200 corporate donation to the Pebble Township Volunteer Fire Department in support of its organization of a swift water rescue team. Angie Duduit, Public Affairs Manager for USEC Inc.’s American Centrifuge Plant, presented the donation to Scott Trego, Chief of the department.

Pebble Township has several low areas including the Pee Pee Creek and Sunfish Creek in Idaho where the potential for high, swift water is great. Establishing the Pebble Township swift water rescue team will provide additional resources to the county as it responds to situations where individuals are caught in swift water until the proper rescue equipment arrives.

USEC employees who serve as volunteers with the Pebble Township Fire Department include Marty Ford, Rick Perkins and Scott Cool.
