After receiving a wake-up call regarding the fate of Spartan Stadium, the Portsmouth Spartan Historical Society and a group of concerned citizens are continuing efforts to draft a proposal for usage and preservation efforts... Therefore a follow-up meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 26th, 6:00 pm at the PortCity Cafe and Pub, 424 Chillicothe St., Portsmouth Ohio.

I was saddened to hear tearing down the stadium ws even being considered, but not shocked at all. After all they tore down the old PHS, now they have the empty lot they must've wanted. All in the name of progress?
